“A small uncovered spot of sand, coral, or rock where one must quickly gather, lose oneself, or proceed in a manner and fashion not yet known. De Master Artistic Research aan de Universiteit van Amsterdam brengt kunst en academici samen door zelfstandige kunstenaars de kans te bieden zich bezig te houden met onderzoek in een inter- en crossdisciplinair framework waar praktijk en theorie verwoven zijn in zowel proces als uitkomst.

The Master of Artistic Research at the University of Amsterdam bridges art and academia by offering autonomous artists the opportunity to engage in research in an inter- and cross-disciplinary framework where practice and theory are entangled as both process and outcome.
