What started as commentary by Joop Stoop on Jos Houwelings’ book Ball & Foot has turned into an artistic collaboration. Joop tore out a page from the book and illustrated it. Then one thing led to another: According to Joop soccer is reminiscent of fishnet stockings, according to Jos fishnet stockings are reminiscent of fishnet stockings. Soccer and sex are the pillars of our society. Besides their collaborative works, both artists will also showcase individual pieces: Joop will exhibit his series The Mother With Inn, made in France, and Jos The Great Soccer Team, made on his computer. Together they are greater.
