NDSM Get Lost Summer 2024
NDSM Get Lost is the perfect night to get lost at NDSM. Four parties at the wharf join forces one Thursday evening in each season for an artistic program. During these evenings, both visitors and residents can discover what the NDSM-wharf has to offer culturally, ranging from exhibitions, performances and lectures to workshops, live music and more.
Have you become curious? Then come along to the spring edition on July 25th at Nieuw Dakota, Beautiful Distress House, Stichting NDSM-werf, and Treehouse NDSM.

Guided Tour
Join a special guided tour that will take you to various locations and provide information about the programme. This tour starts on July 25 at 7:00 pm at Nieuw Dakota. Tickets for the guided tour cost €5 and include a welcome drink. Get your ticket here.

Nieuw Dakota
(+ Supplementary Fee) exhibition
New Dakota presents the exhibition (+ Supplementary Fee) by Thordur Hans Baldursson. The exhibition offers a critical look at the challenges faced by artists and cultural institutions. New Dakota organizes a tour of the various works of art that, by inserting a coin, offer visitors an ultimate experience.
Beautiful Distress
Workshop
Ship of Fools: Madness, Art & Recovery is a workshop by Mitchel Breed, inspired by Hieronymus Bosch. Participants share experiences, insights and make collages, reflecting on how social systems influence our mental health. This is how we follow in Bosch's footsteps by depicting the collective madness of our society.
Stichting NDSM-werf
Tour of Art Installations and Words of NDSM
Stichting NDSM-werf guides you through three works that are currently on display at NDSM. The tour starts at NDSM Lusthof, an architectural garden by Studio Ossidiana. Next, the tour passes by Pavlopetri, an installation with sound by Siba Sahabi. The tour ends with the colorful work (Leave) Space for Space by England's Morag Myerscough. At 8.30 pm, the (free) spoken word event “Words of NDSM”, curated by Mahat Arab, will start here.
Treehouse NDSM
Pop-up exhibition Maze by Eveline Alders
Pop-up Exhibition: We present the first edition of a nomadic platform for exhibitions at Treehouse NDSM. Every month, a different project in a different empty space. For this first edition, our outdoor window shows “Maze” by resident Eveline Alders. Eveline's' maze 'provides insight into how to find your way in your own personal labyrinth. Visitors are invited to discover whether it helps them find peace or lose their way. The artist will present her works during the tour for NDSM Get Lost.

PARTICIPATING PARTIES
Nieuw Dakota
is a contemporary art exhibition space at the NDSM wharf. The experimental program includes exhibitions, performances, tours and educational activities, with the aim of challenging artists and visitors alike and expanding their perspective on the world.
Beautiful Distress House
uses art to increase understanding and compassion for people dealing with mental vulnerabilities. Art appeals to our senses and mind, can make us look at things in a different way and makes us aware of our own prejudices.
NDSM-Wharf Foundation
programs and manages NDSM's monumental outdoor space as a cultural site that focuses on public character, creative experiment and polyphony. The foundation develops and presents location-specific installations and artworks by and with artists, designers and architects.
NDSM Treehouse
is an incubator at the NDSM-wharf with artists' studios, workshops and events. The diverse program offers the opportunity to participate in workshops, listen to live music during “Live At Our Place”, or view exhibitions.
